KNOWING YOURSELF PROGRAMME on 21^thJAN 2020

Our Vivekanandha College of Education for Women B.Ed., students attended the programme “Knowing Yourself” Programme on 22.01.2020 at VIIMS Seminar Hall. Mr. E. Shanmugam M.Sc., M.Ed., M.Phil ., PGDYA., Assistant Professor in Biological science Vettrivel College of Education, Tharamangalam was the chief guests of the programme. He explained about physical fitness faith in God social discipline etc.

PONGAL FESTIVAL CELEBRATION on 11^thJAN 2020

Vivekanandha College of Education for Women celebrated Pongal Festival in a grant manner on 11.01.2020. ‘Vidhya Rathna’ Prof.Dr.M.Karunanithi, Chairman and Secretary, presided the function. Dr. K. Krupanidhi Karunanithi, Vice Chairman and Mr. T. Chokkalingam, Chief Executive of Vivekanandha Educational Institution grace the occasion. Student teachers enjoyed the function with traditional costumes and sweet pongal .

EYE DONATION AWARENESS PROGRAMME on 20^thDEC 2019

Vivekanandha College of Education for Women, conducted a One day Eye donation Awareness programme on 20.12.2019. Lion Dr.J.Ganesh MJF, (World Record Achiever) was the chief guest of the programme. He explained the structure and function of Human Eye. He also briefed about the causes of eye sight loss and its preventive measures. He also awarded various prices for the students, who actively participated in the discussion.

STATE LEVEL SYMPOSIUM ON QUALITY ENHANCEMENT IN TEACHER EDUCATION On 29^th November 2019

Organized one day State Level Symposium on ˜Quality Enhancement in Teacher Education in association with SHIKSHA SANSKRITI UTTHAN NYAS (SSUN), TAMIL NADU CHAPTER on 29th November, 2019 at the Board Room of Admission Office, VCEW Campus. The resource persons were Dr.Kamala Selvaraj, Convener, Teacher Education Forum, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN), Tamil Nadu, Dr.M.Santhoshkumar, Tamil Nadu Convener, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN) and Mr.A.Vinod, Member, National Monitoring Committee of Education (Minority, SC, ST, PWSN), Ministry of Human Resource Development & Southern India Convener, Shiksha Sanskriti Utthan Nyas (SSUN).

EDUCATIONAL FIELD TRIP FOR GANDHI ASHRAM on 20^thNOV 2019

The first year B.Ed., students of Vivekanandha College of Education for Women, visited Gandhi Ashram, chithalanthur on 20.11.2019 the students and gave a short note about the establishment of Gandhi Ashram and he also listed out few handmade products that are developed in the ashram such as soap, instant sticks, honey, saffron etc., He also motivated the students to use Indian products at a high rate rather than using imported products.

SIVABAKIYAM SPECIAL SCHOOL VISIT on 4^thNOV 2019

The first year B.Ed., students of Vivekanandha College of Education for Women, visited Sivabakkiam Special School for Mentally Challenged & Rehabilitation Centre on 04.11.2019.Our students came to know, how the special educators impart guidance and training on speech therapy, sign language, daily living skills such as how to eat, dress & undress, caring teeth toilet training etc.,

Teachers day Celebrations On 05^th September 2019

Teachers are the producers of good humans to the world". Being a teacher education department our College has celebrated Teacher's Day on 5th September, 2019. On the occasion of Teacher's day different outdoor games and cultural programmes were conducted.

Training On Essential Skills For Women In Cyber Security On 16^th August 2019 & Motivational Guidance And Counseling For Women On 17^th August 2019

Organized one day training on Essential skills for women in cyber security on 16^th August, 2019 in collaboration with VCED. The training programme was carried over by Dr.K.R.Satheesh Chandran, Mr.Gopinath Arumugam and Mr.Aravind Kuppusamy, Xplore IT Corporation, Coimbatore in the VIIMS Seminar Hall.

Organized one day Motivational Guidance and Counseling for Women" on 17th August, 2019 in collaboration with VCED. The training programme was carried over by Dr.V.Ezhil and Mrs.P.Pon Mozhi, Manamagizh Mind Care (Therapy and Guidance Centre), Coimbatore.

B.Ed., & M.Ed., 2019 - 2021 Batch Inauguration

B.Ed., & M.Ed., courses 2019 - 2021 Batch were inaugurated in a grant manner on 1st August, 2019 at Vivekanandha A/c Auditorium. The Chief Guest of the programme Prof. Dr. M. Karunanithi, Chairman & Secretary, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions & Hospitals, Tiruchengode & Sankari delivered the presidential address by highlighting the moral and ethical codes of 21st century teachers.

73^rd Independence Day Celebration On 15^th August 2019

Our College celebrated our National's 73^rd Independence Day on 15^th August, 2019. The National Flag was hoisted by Prof.Dr.M.Karunanithi, Chairman & Secretary, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions & Hospitals, Tiruchencode & Sankari followed by special address on Independence day.
